A9. 2008/09 will see the introduction of the new framework. The second round of Community Strategies is due to be produced from April 2008 up to 2009. The second round of Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Strategies will be due in April 2008. The Children & Young People’s Plan is currently timetabled for 2008/09 as this is a new plan to bring together education and other requirements for children and young people. The Local Development Plan (LDP) replaced the requirement for a Unitary Development Plan (UDP) in October 2005 however, some local planning authorities have to decided to pursue completion of their UDPs. Nine local planning authorities had special permission to start their LDPs early in 2005.
