What is the timeline to apply to the American university?
18 months before U.S. study • Begin research of the many colleges and universities programs • Register and start preparing for required entrance test 12-14 months before U.S. study • Narrow down the list of schools to apply • Get all the needed information and forms for each school • Take required entrance exams and standardized tests. 10-12 months before U.S. study • Review that you got all the information and form. • Obtain the recommendation letters from your references • Obtain transcripts from your school/s • Write your application essay or SOP • Retake any tests if scores were unsatisfactory 10 months before U.S. study • Complete and mail applications 3 months before U.S. study • Apply for your student visa • Make travel arrangements for when you arrive in the U.S.
