What is the timeline to a California Constitutional Convention in 2010?
On Wednesday, October 29, 2009, draft initiatives were submitted to the California Attorney General for review. The Attorney General has until November 17 to issue titles and summaries for measures. That starts the race to collect enough signatures to get the measures on the ballot, which are due in mid-April, 2010. We then have about 5 months to get over 1.6 million signatures on two ballot measures!
