What is the timeline going forward?
• • • • All courts have now approved the settlement, and the bankruptcy court has approved the Disclosure Statement and Ballot for the plan, which is designed to implement the settlement. • The Disclosure Statement and Ballot should be mailed out this week (the week of February 19). If you don't receive a copy in ten days or so, see “Address Changes” on this site and notify the people there. We have passed on address changes that we received, but in combining numerous lists some of those changes may not have been used. • The confirmation hearing on the plan is scheduled for April 3, 2007. This is when we hope the Bankruptcy Court will approve the plan based on everyone's vote. • If the plan is approved and there are no objections, it could be implemented ten days after that – on April 13. Thaxton may begin to send out payments then, for about 20% of the amount due. • Thaxton is working to find a buyer for its remaining operations. We hope that will happen in a matter of month
