This process will begin in the summer of 2008 when the Government of Nova Scotia undertakes the first-ever State of Nova Scotias Coast Report. Release of this report is planned for March 2009, followed by opportunities for public discussion and feedback throughout the spring and summer. Information contained in the report and related public input will form the basis for the Sustainable Coastal Development Strategy, which PON will develop during the fall and winter of 2009/10. The Sustainable Coastal Development Strategy is scheduled for completion by Spring 2010.
