What is the timeline for the management plan review process at OCNMS?
We estimate that the entire process may take 2-3 years. The initial scoping period started September 15 and ended November 14, 2008. Dates for later phases of the process are less certain, but have been outlined in a proposed work plan. Priority topics for the revised management plan will be selected in early 2009. Action plan development will begin in the summer of 2009. A draft management plan and a corresponding National Environmental Policy Act compliance document are anticipated by the summer of 2010, and final documents can be expected by the end of the following year.
