What is the timeline for PowerBuilder 12, and why has it taken so long to release?
PowerBuilder 12 is generally available in Q2 2010. PowerBuilder 12 is in-line with our release cycle which averages 15-18 months for major releases. The last major release was v11.5 which became GA in August 2008. We are currently finalizing the feature set for the next two major releases following v12.
