What is the timeline and process for intern selection?
On March 21, Host Sites will make First Contact with prospective interns. They will contact their preferred internship candidate and ask to set up a phone (or webcam) interview, some time that week. After the interview is complete, the Host Site may offer the candidate an internship. If they do not, they will notify the candidate that they were not selected. The second round of selections and interviews will follow the next week, in the same pattern. Each week, through the end of March and early April, the same pattern will repeat, connecting host sites with interns. Interns, who are not selected, will be notified by April 18.
