What is the timeframe of the study?
The project began with an introductory meeting on December 9, 2002. A draft report is anticipated in June, 2003. The staff and steering committee will hold monthly meetings to review and discuss the study. The suggested meeting topics and tentative schedule are: Meeting 1: (Held 12/9/02) Introductions, organization, ground rules and process. Overview of problem and alternatives to be considered. Meeting 2: (Held 1/16/03) Managerial and Operational Aspects, responsibilities, needs, priorities. Meeting 3: (Held 2/13/03)Financial Aspects and possible organizational and funding alternatives. Meeting 4: (Held 3/12/03) Legal Aspects of possible organizational and funding alternatives Meeting 5: (Held 4/24/03) Identification and evaluation of alternatives Meeting 6: (Held 5/22/03)Draft recommendations open discussion. Consultant shall present the Draft Report to the Steering Committee, and discuss the intended use of the document. Meeting 7: Final Recommendations and Formal Adoption of Draft
