For cash deposit – The money would be credited within 2 Indian banking hours. If the deposit is made at 2.00 PM Toronto time (i.e 11.30 PM India time), the money would be credited to the beneficiary’s account by 11.00 AM India time next day (i.e. 1.30 AM Toronto time). For cheque deposit – The money would be credited on the 3rd working day from the date of the deposit. However, if the amount is greater than CAD 8000, a debit freeze would be put on the amount for 8 working days (from the date of the deposit).
