What is the time required to complete Customs formalities at Mumbai Airports?
We cannot comment about the time taken to complete the customs formalities at Bombay. However, after alighting from the aircraft you have to complete the immigration formalities and wait for the arrival of the baggage after these are unloaded from the aircraft. These procedures are not related to Customs. If you have any dutiable item to declare, you then have to move to the Red Channel. At Calcutta, under normal conditions, it does not take more than half an hour to complete the customs formalities at Red Channel. If you have no dutiable goods to declare, you can move straight to the Green Channel and check out without going through any Customs formalities.
