What is the time frame for new stroke team members to meet the educational requirements?
New hires have up to 60 days to meet CME requirements. If a new stroke team member was previously at another designated center and met the requirement in the last year at the other facility, this will meet the requirement for the new facility. The yearly requirement must be met by 12/31 of the previous year. For example, for the 2008 audit tool submission due March 16, 2009 , the CME requirement had to have been met on 12/31/08.
