What is the time difference between the US and Korea or Japan?
The US central time zone is usually 15 hours behind Korea and Japan time during standard time. (14 hours behind during Daylight Saving Time). For example: if a student in Korea wants to study between 5pm-11pm, Monday through Friday, the American Tutor must be available from 3am- 9am U.S. time. On the weekends, if a Korean student wanted to work between 1pm-11pm Korean time, that would be 11pm-9am central U.S. time.
