First, understand that China does not observe Daylight Saving Time like Oklahoma does. China used to, but no longer. Also, all of China is in one time zone; all of China observes Beijing Time (BT). So when Oklahoma is using Daylight Saving Time, Beijing (and all of China) is 13 hours ahead of Oklahoma’s Central Daylight Time (CDT). When Oklahoma is NOT using Daylight Saving Time, but is using Central Standard Time (CST), Beijing is 14 hours ahead of Oklahoma.
