What is the Time difference between EST and PDT?
EST = eastern standard time PDT = pacific daylight time In the U.S., you’ll never find a situation where part of the country is on standard time and another part of the country is on daylight time. But let’s say just for yukks that you were in California (which is in the Pacific Time Zone), it’s Daylight Savings Time, and you were trying to call an island in the Caribbean that is on Eastern Standard Time. The island in the Caribbean would be two hours ahead of you, so at 8:00 AM in California it would be 10:00 AM on that Caribbean island.
