Part Time service may comprise periods of continuous full-time training and single day training of 2 to 6 hours duration. In the Army Reserve, how many hours do I work daily, and train during the service. A day is considered to be 6 hours. During mid week training you could expect to work either 2 or 3 hours being a 3rd or half a day. The time worked on a weekend would depend on the training being conducted but you would be eligible for a day’s pay once you had completed 6 hours.
