What is the time commitment involved in being a part of a fraternity?

At our chapter of AEPi, there is a sizable but reasonable and flexible time commitment. We require a certain number of philanthropy hours (of which many brothers willingly choose to exceed). We require brothers to fulfill certain duties at social events. Brothers are expected to attend weekly meetings. Those brothers involved in the executive and minor boards are expected to perform their duties to the best of their abilities and also have frequent meetings. During pledging, one’s time commitment is high, so we encourage and promote good time management practices.
