Part time students need to dedicate 2 days a week to their training. One day is spent at the University, the other on clinical placement. The following are the weekdays that students are expected to attend at the University: • Year I: Monday • Year II: Tuesday • Year III: Wednesday. The placement day needs to be negotiated between the student and the placement. University and placement days usually start at 9.30am and end at 5.00pm In addition, the Programme begins with an intensive week and all students are expected to attend for the full duration. There is one placement intensive weeks in each year. Dates for this are set but in some cases this can be negotiated with the Programme Coordinator. Part time students also need to find time to attend personal therapy once a week.
