What is the Tier 1 – Post Study Work Scheme?

0

Tier 1 allows all international students who have completed and obtained a UK bachelor’s degree, Master’s, PhD, postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma in any subject, after 30th June 2008, to apply for further leave to remain in the UK to work for a maximum of 2 years. The scheme replaces the former Science and Engineering Scheme (SEGS), although students who completed their course before 1st May 2007 can still apply for further leave to remain under that scheme, and also replaces the International Graduate Scheme (IGS). Please refer to the International Office website for full details on Tier 1 and how to apply.
