What is the tie between the list of queries that need to be developed and the individuals being trained? Are any of the standard or Ad Hoc queries already written?
There is no tie between the list of queries and the individuals being trained. The individuals that have been trained thus far have been designated by the business analysts as either resident experts or very experienced Brio users. We currently have 30 plus standard reports in Cognos QA. The adhoc reports are currently on hold until the project has been re-scoped. The individuals that have been trained on Cognos will identify a critical adhoc query or two from their area to convert from Brio to Cognos as a way of learning the tool.
