What is the throughput of the ATS-100?
The throughput of the ATS-100 will of course depend upon how the user has chosen to set up the instrument (e.g., if barcodes are being read, if the fine-alignment feature is being used, if the deionizer is being used, etc.) and the type of map that is being run. But to give a general idea, the ATS-100 can perform 384 plate replications in under 4 minutes, 1536 replications in under 6 minutes, and 3456 replications in under 15 minutes. Larger volume transfers are typically what increases the throughput time the most. For 384 transfers of 250nL each well the throughput time on the ATS-100 goes up to about 6 minutes per plate.
