What is the three strikes system?
The board operates on a loose “three strikes and you’re out” system. If mildly offensive or senseless behaviour occurs, there will usually be several informal warnings; however, if this continues, or a serious offence occurs, there will be an official warning or “strike”. This will be noted in the Admins’ Dungeon. If you ignore this warning and continue to be offensive or insulting, there will be a second warning. If the behaviour continues you will be banned. This system isn’t hard or fast; certain offences such as attempting to attack the board, or spamming from the outset, will result in an instant ban. If offences are small, admins will often be more lenient; we don’t agree with banning anyone without a just cause. However, please realise that our rules system is for the benefit of our community and helps us to keep this board an enjoyable, intelligent, lamer-free discussion forum.
