What is the thermal resistance value for this product (aged value)?

WALLTITE®, as with all SPFs, ultimately has an aged R-Value of 6.0. When tested in accordance with ASTM C 518, the aged R-Value of WALLTITE® is R 6.6. ASTM C 518 does not provide an accurate measurement of ultimate aged R-Value. BASF is the only manufacturer to freely admit this. Other manufacturers will quote R-Values up to 8.0 for new product and an aged R-Value of 6.6 to 6.8 when tested in accordance with C 518. While this is not inaccurate, it does not reflect the ultimate aged R-Value of the SPF and is therefore misleading.
