What is the theoretical basis of ThaliaProject?
It is a very intuitive idea that macroscopic outcomes are ultimately determined by the combination of individual elementary factors. This law of nature applies to many fields, and projects are no exception. All ThaliaProject does is provide a systematic framework to represent this simple mechanism and exploit it to the advantage of project outcomes. Various theories are based on this concept. In particular, Robert Rockarts theory of Critical Success Factors (1979) identifies the measures of corporate performance that, if satisfied, will ensure successful competitive performance: they are the things that have to go well, and to which attention is due. In 1983, Prof. Spiros Makridakis developed the theory of Relevance Trees, to identify and manage those technological developments that have the most bearing on the primary and intermediate objectives of an organization.
