What is the text link for Ellis Island arrivals?
If you click on the name of the ship, you get taken to the first manifest image for that ship arrival. You then need to read through each of those images, frame by frame. Since many of them are handwritten, they might be difficult to read. If you click on the link that says “text”, you get taken to a textual (i.e., typed) page corresponding to the first manifest image containing passenger names. That’s much easier to read, and you can read through all the pages of the manifest much quicker. This applies to Ellis Island ship-lists form only.
