What is the TexShare database budget for 2001?

0

Using state funds, federal funds, and TIF grant funds, there will be $10,040,900 to spend on TexShare databases in FY01. The Texas State Library and Archives Commission has requested money from the Legislature to accommodate price increases in future years. It does not appear that appropriations to meet this need will pass this legislative session. Therefore, a portion of the database budget will be spent on one-time purchases this year so that there is money in the budget to accommodate increases in subscription costs, subsidizing TexSelect databases, and continuation of collection development in the netLibrary collection.
