In NMA, the council is the next level up from the chapter. The Texas Gulf Coast Council #c240 (TGCC) is a group of four chapters in Houston that facilitates the exchange of ideas and information among its member chapters and sponsors events to support the chapters and its members. Current chapters involved in the TGCC are USA Leadership Association (USALA), Lockheed Martin Leadership Association (LMLA), Wyle, Hernandez Engineering, Inc. (HEI), and American Valve & Hydrant (AVH).
