What is the testing for gestational diabetes?
• One hour Glucose Tolerance Test at 24-28 weeks: • This requires you to drink a 50-gram glucose drink. Once the drink is finished, a time is set for one hour. After one hour, your blood is drawn and sent to the lab for testing. • If the result is less than 135, it is normal, and no additional test is needed.
