What is the termination clause?
Patents are like booby traps. To the best of our knowledge we have not stepped on anyone’s patents, but if we did, and we are notified of that fact, we must terminate the our license to use the offending code. AT&T does not want to be in the position of aiding an abetting the illegal use of patents and it doesn’t want to squander it resources fighting patent claims on software that it does not get revenue from.
