What is the term of the standard limited warranty?
Kaleidescape offers a two-year limited warranty on all new hardware products with the exception of the Speed Reader. The Speed Reader and its predecessor the Bulk Loader are covered by a one-year limited warranty. Products purchased through the end of September 2006 (except the Bulk Loader) included an additional one year of extended warranty, at no additional charge, in order to honor any commitments made to customers based on the prior Price List and prior Service and License Agreement, both of which referenced a three-year limited warranty term. All other terms of the limited warranty are the same as they were before and are described in the Service and License Agreement posted at https://www.kaleidescape.com/licensing/ and in the Service Policy posted at the Dealer Extranet, https://extranet.kaleidescape.com/partners/policies/.
Kaleidescape offers a twenty-four (24) month limited warranty to the first purchaser of hardware products except the Kaleidescape Mini System 120, Kaleidescape Mini Disk Cartridge, Kaleidescape Remote, and Kaleidescape Speed Reader. The Mini System 120, Mini Disk Cartridge, Remote and Speed Reader carry a twelve (12) month limited warranty.
