The Temple of Set was by Dr. Michael Aquino, a former Church of Satan member, in the 1975. It is a Satanic organization based upon ideas similar to those of Modern Satanism but with an actual deity. That deity being the Egyptian god Set which is often viewed as a version of the Christian devil.
