What is the technology used in the Bella Contour system for body contouring?
The technology behind the Bella Contour system is called REAL™, which stands for Resonant Amplification of Lipid Metabolism. This technology is a combination of three well-established and proven technologies, each having a different effect on the adipose (fat) cell: • Ultrasound – creates a resonance (vibration) effect that causes the release of triglycerides, lipids, without disrupting the cell membrane. • Interferential therapy – electric current fields help the fatty lipids to leave the cell by increasing the cell’s permeability without breaking the cell membrane. Once the lipids are outside the cell, they are available for the body to convert into energy. • Vacuum therapy – helps transport lipids into the blood stream by locally increasing blood flow in the treated area. In a typical Bella Contour body contouring treatment session, ultrasound and interferential therapy are applied simultaneously for 40 minutes and then vacuum massage is applied for 10 minutes.
