What is the technology component of Success Measures?
The Success Measures Data System and related support harness technology to make evaluation easier without requiring advanced technology capabilities. SMDS is web-based software, so there’s nothing to download/configure/update on your organization’s computers. It’s more like on-line banking: you access it through the Internet by going to a secure website, then log on with a user ID and password. The only technology needed on your end is a computer with Internet connection. The data entered into the Success Measures Data System is maintained in a powerful Oracle database in a secure, reliable server that is maintained according to commercial standards in an outsourced facility that meets high standards for “up time” and back-up.
