o Skip from the Maverick Boat Company states We have many customers that tow skiffs behind larger boats. Each application is different as far as towing length, speed, etc. We have installed many tow rings/ wishbones, etc. I suggest having a wishbone made for towing. This piece installs below your bow eye and pulls lower – which is a good thing. What you have to be very careful of, is taking on water in rough conditions. Towing a non-self bailing boat is very risky. For self bailing skiffs, you might want to consider having a second, higher set of self bailing ports installed. This really helps rid the boat of any cockpit water. o Skip from the Maverick Boat Company also states The “wishbone” towing bridle may be installed on an existing unit. I know of one manufacturer here in S Florida that makes and installs these. You could also install the towing eyes as these are easier to install. If you would like the information regarding the wishbone please let me know and I’ll email it to you
