What is the Technical Assistance to Brownfields Communities (TAB) Program?
The EPA defines the TAB program as, grants that provide geographically based technical assistance and training to communities and other stakeholders on brownfields issues with the goal of increasing the community’s understanding and involvement in brownfield cleanup and revitalization. The TAB program allows ECD to offer information to help communities better understanding the health impacts of brownfields sites, aid in the explanation of the science and technology evolved in brownfields site assessment, provide answers to brownfields finance questions, and information on approaches to brownfields cleanup and redevelopment.
