• The test is a standardized test for pre nursing candidates in the areas of Reading, Mathematics, Science, English and language usage. • All applicants to the Sacramento City College Extended Campus Nursing Program at Sutter Center for Health Professions must take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) and submit results with completed application packets. If the cut score of 67 is not achieved in each of the areas on the first attempt, applicants may remediate and take the entire test a second time and pay another test fee. Retaking the test will depend on space availability. Spaces will be given to first-time testers first. All must be completed before applying to the nursing program.
