What is the taxi fare from delhi international airport to Chandigarh?
its right that local newspaper advertise about half rates from delhi to chandigarh but they do not have taxis available they are doing it just for the sake of popularity. i have tried to use their services 3 times but i didnt get any taxi. one time they promise that the cab will reach but they keep me waiting for 3 hours and finally i have to hire a cab at full rates. i am regular visitor to delhi and i have found one taxi operator who provides regular cab at good rates and that is Gurdial Taxi Services. i think they are two brothers handling the business and their number are given below for reference of others. Gulshan 9872608270, 9915808270 and Rajesh 9779908270 and their website is www.chandigarhtaxiservices.com. Even i found them on Google search engine.
i hope this review will be helpful for people like me who are regular visitor to delhi.
The Chandigarh local paper advertises a few travel agents that will book a taxi for Rs1700 DEL-Chandigarh (even less for the other way). The agents were all in Sector 43 if that helps find them. Sorry I don’t have a copy but saw the ad myself when i was there in January. I did not try it myself though, so I can’t verify.
