We are looking to win six gold medals. In Sea Games 22, Vietnam won eight gold medals. The forecasted decline is quite reasonable because our main competitors, Doan Nu Truc Van, Pham Dinh Khanh Doan and Phan Thi Thu Lan, have been injured or retired and our younger athletes fail to show potential. We hope to win medals in the high jump and pole vault events. Bui Thi Nhung is currently preparing for the Asian Athletics Championship in Busan, South Korea this September.
