What is the SYC volunteer policy?
Each family registering for the first time will pay a $25 volunteer initiation fee in addition to the activity fee charged by each sport. year, you will not be charged the initiation fee next year or for each year that you continue volunteering. However, if a family does not perform any volunteer work during this membership year, a $35 Volunteer Reinstatement fee will be charged the next membership year. What types of volunteer jobs can I do? The following are jobs that are approved volunteer positions: Head Coach and assistant coaches Team manager Field setup and/or field maintenance Team banner maker Field marshal You can volunteer to coach at in-person registration sessions or over the Internet.
