The FLSmidth Automation Support Lifecycle policy standardizes FLSmidth Automation product support policies for Control System, Laboratory, Utilities and custom-made software, and for hardware products. The Support Lifecycle policy was originally announced on January 1, 2008 and applies to most Business and Development software products that were in mainstream support on January 1, 2008, and to future product versions. The new Support Lifecycle policy provides: Control System and Laboratory software FLSmidth Automation will offer a minimum of 10 years of support for Control System and Laboratory software products. FLSmidth Automation will provide mainstream support* for either 5 years after the date of general availability, or for 2 years after the successor product (N+1) is released, whichever is longer.
