We here at The Homeschool Library seek to provide a community of support for homeschooling parents. A place to learn about curriculum, ask questions about the unique challenges of homeschooling, support each other in our struggles to educate our children and just laugh and have fun. Busy homeschooling mothers need a place where they can feel like they’re surrounded by those who understand their unique needs. The Homeschool Library is that community. However, sometimes, some members want to discuss a serious issue: a current event that concerns them; a theological, political, or philosophical question. We recognize that there is a reason why politics and religion have long been considered off-limits in polite company. Due to the strong feelings many people have on those topics, it is often difficult for people to stay polite when discussing them. One person merely expressing their feelings leads to another person disagreeing, and soon you have an argument and/or hurt feelings.
