The culture substrate used for mycelial propagation is strictly, certified organic, rye grain! The grain used is identical to those supplied to national grocery and health food stores distributing certified organic food. No “animal feed” grade grains or agricultural by-products are utilized at any stage during the growth and maintenance of the mycelium.
