What is the sub-nav and why would I want to add a link there?
The buttons that display on all pages of your website (usually along the top or left column) is called the main navigation or global navigation. Any page links that fall below these main navigation items are called sub navigation or sub-nav for short. When you place your mouse over a global navigation button, notice the pop-up menu that displays? This is where the sub navigation links are displayed. You have control over what sub navigation items are displayed in these pup-up menus via The Big Deal editor. When you are on any page in the editor, notice the “Add Link to Sub-Nav” checkbox? By default, this option will be selected. If you do not want a page to be displayed in the mouse over pop-up menu then simply uncheck this box.
