What is the Student Aid Report (SAR) and what do I do with it?
You should receive an email notification from the Federal Processor once they have processed your FAFSA. The email will direct you to www.fafsa.ed.gov with instructions on viewing your Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR lists all the information you provided on the FAFSA. Review your Student Aid Report (SAR) to make sure all information is accurate and complete. If you need to make corrections you should submit them yourself at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If your SAR contains comments you do not understand, you can contact our office for assistance. Check the Information Release section of your SAR to be sure UNCG (school code 002976) is listed as a school to receive your information. We receive an electronic record of your SAR automatically if you listed UNCG on the FAFSA. If UNCG does not receive your information, we will not know that you want financial aid. To add UNCG as a recipient of your information go online to www.fafsa.ed.gov and submit a correction or contact the Federal Student Aid C
