The structure of the RHCE exam has changed with the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3. Under this release, the RHCE exam consists of two sections: • Section I: Troubleshooting and System Maintenance (2.5 hours) • Section II: Installation and Configuration (3.0 hours) In order to earn RHCE, candidates must complete all compulsory Troubleshooting and System Maintenance problems, earn a section score of 80 or higher on Section I, and earn a score of 70 or higher on both the RHCT and RHCE items in the Installation and Configuration section.
