I’m going to assume you mean the conference/divisional setup in the NHL. The NHL is made up of thirty teams, 6 in Canada and 24 in the USA. These teams are divided into 2 conferences, East and West, of 15 teams each. The 15 teams in each conference are further divided into 3 divisions each, the Atlantic, Northeast and Southeast in the Eastern Conference and the Central, Northwest, and Pacific in the Western Conference.
