Blue Sky Flyers Inc. is a corporation registered with the state of Colorado. The club owns the aircraft and other assets, such as cash on hand and supplies. Each member has purchased a share in the corporation, and as such owns a proportional interest in the club’s assets. Thus, as a shareholder in the club, you are an aircraft owner and each member has a vote in how the flying club is operated! It is operated as a not for profit and no dividends, etc are paid on the shares. The club currently allows only 65 members. The club’s operation is governed by its bylaws, which you can read on our Web site. The business of the club is directed by a nine member board Day-to-day operations are overseen by the elected officers, which include a president, vice-president, secretary- treasurer, membership, utilities, safety, maintenance, and activities officer.
