What is the structure of the board of the MIPI Alliance?
Today the board of MIPI Alliance, Inc. consists of the four founders (ARM, Nokia, ST & TI). Six additional board seats will be filled by Promoters elected by the board from the group of Contributors. Promoters have staggered three year terms with two Promoter positions becoming available every year. To avoid a three year delay in filling the board, the MIPI bylaws provide some flexibility in the initial population of six Promoters. The managing director will have a non-voting seat as chairman of the board.
