What is the Structure of an Atom?

0

The structure of an atom consists of a center called a nucleus which makes up almost the total weight of the atom. In the nucleus is a cluster of protons and neutrons. The protons have a positive electric charge while the neutrons are electrically neutral. Outside the nucleus there are electrons traveling at fantastic speeds around the nucleus and have a negative electric charge.
