What is the strongest glue?
Dear Betsyb, Take a look at what it is that you intend to glue. And then seek out the best glue for that project. For example. Affixing paper to paper? How about a rubber glue (Smells neat… does the trick) If you are joining wood to wood… perhaps gorilla glue or a carpenter’s glue. The new polyurethane’s are extremely durable and for the most part water proof for outdoor applications… but they expand and foam. And that is the big knock to the gorilla folks. Elmer’s works great in some cases and dries clear and can be sanded and painted. And if you care to join metal or glass or repair an item, then epoxy might be in order. Always read the labels and have a clamp or device to hold during the curing period.
